Stucco Removal

The stucco had to be removed along the bottom of the walls so that we will be able to attach the new floor joists. We should have done this before the hole was dug, but we managed to get an excavator to come sooner than we had expected. So, we had to set up scaffolds to work at removing the stucco. We discovered that the walls had been insulated in the past. The stucco came off with some pounding and prying and snipping of the wire mesh. The busted stucco will join the crushed rock we will have delivered as part of the under slab drainage.
