Tiles and Grout

As you can see, we have leveled off the floor and laid down porcelain tiles at the entry way and in the washroom. That's my bro, The Duke, floor-covering expert, helping us out, working the mud with the trowel. Stoney man and TC worked on the bathroom tiles, doing some creating breaking to work around the toilet. And my parents were over as well, to help wrangle Ben. And it was my birthday, too. Yay! Cake and pie!

And I grouted the tiles the next day.

Stucco - Scratch coat

The cold days of fall are here, and after waiting six weeks for the soffit & facia contractor to arrive (after we hired them in late August and they said they would do the job within two weeks), and a couple weeks for some warm days, the stucco contractor came and put up the wire mech one day, and the scratch coat the next. He'll be back in the Spring to put on the final coat(s). (You will also notice that the soffit is only up, as we're STILL waiting to the contractor to come finish the job.)
