Wall Opening part 2

Today Tom and Ruth finished off the opening from the kitchen to the addition, cutting away the buffalo board and plaster that remained. We installed some plywood to keep Benjamin away from the tools!

Wall Opening part 1

We began to make the main opening to the kitchen from the addition. We cut away the boards, removed the insulation and then the window.

Here's out half-a-table on the kitchen side.

Plumbing

We had a plumber come in and help us out with the sanitary piping for the new bathroom.

Insulation

This week we got the ceiling insulated. Now we can feel the actual height of the ceiling.

Benjamin!!!

As people have demanded, some current photos of Ben!

He spends time hanging on the gate to the addition when we're working.

Heating & Electrical

We ran a duct in the basement, and are most of the way through the electrical.

Stairs Installation

Last weekend we removed the old stairs and landing and installed the new ones we constructed.

Old stairs pulled out and removed.
