Fencing!

Yeah, it's been awhile since a post. It has been a year since we began the addition.
Other than trim being put up in the house, it's been minor the last couple months.

Big changes recently in the yard. We have built a new welded wire fence, and ripped out some of the old fence, connecting the back and side yards.

Strawberry Break!

This weekend we got the bracing and cross beams up and the fencing on.



Then we began to remove the old section of fence dividing the front and side yards.

Then we built the new gate, re-using a section of the old fence,
and adding in some bracing.

Benjamin Haircut

Tracy was trimming my hair, outside, with the clippers. Ben was interested, so he ended up getting his hair trimmed as well. He has very thick hair (yay). He was also very good and let the trimmer buzz away on his head.

Stained Glass Door

Months ago we bought a old door from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore for $5. Ruth and Tracy worked on stripping is down and sanding it so it looked like this.



As the house continued to be added onto, they continued to rehabilitate the door. They measured and had stained glass cut to replace the panels of the door. This past month, we had the new bathroom completed, so we assembled the door, painted and hung it up.
